The one thing that got me to develop an interest in digital design has been movies and cartoons. Since I was eight I would be astonished by how real movies looked even though most of it was fake. I grew a large interest in in it and decided to actually learn it and possibly be good at it. Like most things it was bad at the start, trying to make things but they never really looked good. After finishing elementary school, I applied to a digital design magnet school, Miami Arts Studio 6-12. That’s what I really learned how to create masterpieces using Photoshop, illustrator even animate. In that class I learned things I never thought I could accomplish. All the projects I’ve done in the class have each helped me in improving my digital design skills. At that point I realized that this could be my profession in the future, creating practically anything from nothing is something that not many can do. I don’t exactly plan on being a digital designer, but an animator which still requires digital design skills. Going back to why I joined the school, I’ve always wanted to create mayor motion pictures, and now I can. I have learned animation and I keep trying to master animation for that is what I’m aiming for. Animation plus digital design in my opinion is a combination that I’m proud of having.
Most of my current achivements in the digital design area have been assisting to the "INOVATE CTE CHALLENGE" where a group of kids including me copeted against each other to create the companys new logo. I also assisted in creating the new logo for "MDCPS" (a school system). I competed in an animation competition for microsoft in which me and some companions had to make a stork animation. Apart from that I have helped to develop many of the digital components for my dads company.
